A Type of New Media that Doesn't Exist

Though VR technology has already made massive steps in terms of advancement, VR technology tends to have little to no interaction with social interaction and new media. As VR technology gets better and more incorporated into our daily lives, I forsee VR becoming the new medium for just about anything. Rather than stare at a lifeless Google page or call for a robotic voice named Alexa or Siri, we can potentially get help from a virtual assistant with a name and a face. VR technology can transform books and movies into experiences that consumers will live through, rather than simply read or observe.
